Skull
At the table · 30 min
Win two flower challenges.
Place a hidden disc or bid; the highest bidder reveals flowers starting with their own stack.
Two won challenges, or being the last player with discs, wins.
Reveal your own stack first. Continue with other stacks if needed; a skull stops the challenge immediately.
Beautiful bluffing · 3–6 players
Start with three flowers and one skull. Win two challenges, or be the only player with discs remaining. Your mat turns to its flower side after your first success.
Place a secret
Everyone places one disc face down. The starter places last, then takes the first turn. Turns go clockwise: add a disc to your stack or bid how many flowers you can reveal. If your hand is empty, you must bid. You cannot pass before bidding starts.
Raise or pass
Once someone bids, nobody adds discs. Raise above the current bid, up to all discs on the table, or pass. A pass lasts for the whole auction. Passed players’ stacks remain available. The last bidder takes the challenge. A bid for every disc starts the challenge immediately.
Turn them over
Reveal one top disc at a time, starting with your own stack. You may choose other stacks only after yours is revealed. Stop as soon as you have revealed the bid’s number of flowers—even if your own stack has more discs. You win one challenge. A skull ends your attempt immediately.
The cost of a skull
If you reveal your own skull, privately choose any one of your remaining discs to lose. If you reveal another player’s skull, that player blindly removes one disc from your shuffled collection, including unplayed discs. Only you know the lost type. Lose your last disc and you are eliminated.
The challenger starts the next round if still in play. If eliminated by someone else’s skull, its owner starts. If eliminated by their own skull, the eliminated player chooses the next starter.
Your online table
Classic rules; the optional Last Chance disc is not used. The first starter is random. Opening discs are placed in turn, with the starter last. Hidden types stay private. Solo waits for you; friends have 75 seconds per decision before a bot handles it. Bots use only their own private hand and public information.
