Monopoly Deal
At the table · 15–30 min
Complete three property sets in different colors.
Draw two, play up to three cards, and discard to seven.
Collect rent, make deals, and pay only with cards on your table.
Win the deal
Be the first to build three complete property sets in different colors. Each full set needs at least one ordinary property card. A property wild may help finish a set; you can move properties between allowed groups for free on your turn.
Your turn
Start with five cards. Draw two at the start of each turn, or five when your hand is empty. Play up to three cards: place property, bank a money or action card, or use an action. You may stop early. Discard down to seven cards at the end. A banked action stays money.
Rent and actions
A paired-color Rent charges every opponent; an any-color Rent charges one. A Double the Rent card uses an additional play and doubles the charge; two quadruple it. Pass Go draws two. Debt Collector asks one rival for 5M; Birthday asks all for 2M. Sly Deal takes an uncompleted property, Forced Deal swaps one, and Deal Breaker takes a complete set with its buildings. Just Say No can block an action against you and can itself be countered without using a turn play.
Payments and buildings
When you owe money, choose any face-up bank or property cards to pay. Cards in hand are safe. You owe no more than you own, and receive no change. A rainbow wild has no cash value. Houses and hotels increase rent on completed color sets; hotels need a house first. Neither belongs on railroads or utilities.
