Finish with the most money.
First bid on properties or pass; then secretly choose a property to sell for a cheque.
After both decks are spent, count cheques and unspent cash.
Buy low, sell high
For Sale plays in two phases with 3–6 players. In the buying phase, bid on thirty unique properties numbered 1–30. In the selling phase, offer your properties for thirty checks: two each worth $2,000 through $15,000 and two void checks worth $0. For four players, two properties and two checks are removed unseen before play.
Buying properties
Players start with $28,000 each for three players, $21,000 for four, $16,000 for five, or $14,000 for six. Each round reveals one property per player. On your turn, raise the current bid or pass. Passing gives you the lowest property still available and refunds half your bid, rounded down; the rest is spent. Passing with no bid costs nothing. You sit out the rest of this auction. The last bidder pays their full bid and takes the highest remaining property. That player opens the next auction. If you cannot afford to raise, pass.
Selling properties
Reveal one check per player each round. Each player chooses one property from their hand in secret. When everyone has locked a choice, reveal all houses: the highest house earns the highest check, second highest the second highest check, and so on. Sold houses leave play. Repeat until every check has been claimed.
Winning
Add the values of all checks and every dollar you kept from the auction. The highest total wins. Tied totals go to the player with more leftover cash; if still tied, share the victory. This table uses the base rules.
